Layers & Materials: with a few exceptions the first layer seems to be a t-shirt or tank top that remains unseen, then dusty black pants, some loose, some fitted with various styles of boots. I've identified a few styles:
Chic Wraith: these are the guys in the long fitted black leather coats, most nattily attired of the wraiths. There is lots of variation within this genre, but feature tailored coats that are cut in at the waist and flare out slightly. There are often insets of croc, snake or lizard skin panels on the chest and back, some such as Michaels' feature it through out the entire coat, shoulder treatments with spiky segmented armor, leather belled shoulder armor with sparkly black insets or variations of "dragon" scaled type armor. Most have a high standing collar which also may feature lizardy insets. Many of the coats are long-almost to the floor or if calf length have high boots with the pants tucked in. Some have silver metallic insets in design that remind one of their insect heritage. These guys have well groomed shiny white hair that feature more treatment -pulled back, braids or dreds. They do not seem to be as coarse looking or ugly as many of the other wraiths. Rather than the deep facial scars on early wraiths they are more likely to have intricate tattooing on face and neck. Many seem to be younger wraiths such as the one on Ronin's homeworld with the sparkly goggles that he killed first. The Gen Y of the wraith world although some of the older wraiths seem to keep up appearances such as Todd.
Generic Wraith: this is the vast majority of the wraiths seen in battles and background, many wear the long black coats but lack the detailing and close fit opting for belting, some wear vest or leather tunics with bare arms and leather vambraces, there is much more strapping, armor plainer cut and no insets such as Steve. They are more likely to have looser fitting pants over their boots & more deformed facial features. Coming next: special wraith characters and drones

Do you have any reccomendations for if one can't get ahold of any lizard skin type stuff for pannels?

Have you made a wraith costume yet?if so do you have any pics of it?i think its great your doing the wraith costumes everyone else seems to be doing the sga jackets....a little boring if you ask me and besides the wraith are more stylish! =)
